Trips to Roses

In the northernmost part of Spain's Mediterranean coast lies this delightful resort town. Roses is a quaint fishing village with a charming old town center that has grown into a true holiday metropolis. Known both as a historical site and a tourist destination, Roses gives its name to the beautiful bay outside the town. Here you'll find a charming center with narrow streets, many shops, restaurants, and tapas bars.

The four-kilometer-long sandy beach connects Roses' older center with the newer district of Santa Margarita, where our holiday accommodations are located.

During the summer, the beachfront promenade is bustling with life. You can take leisurely strolls, people-watch, or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants.

Tourism Tax in Catalonia As of November 1st, 2012, a tourism tax is to be paid by the guest directly to the hotel upon arrival unless otherwise stated:

• Hotels 5*; €2.50 throughout Catalonia.
• Hotels 4*; €1.25 in Barcelona City and €1 in the rest of Catalonia.
• Other hotels and apartments; €0.75 in Barcelona City and €0.50 in the rest of Catalonia. The fee is per person per night and is charged for a maximum of 7 nights. VAT is additional. Children up to and including 15 years old do not pay the fee.
