Béziers and its surroundings offer a variety of interesting sights such as the fountains of the Titans or the bullring, which was built in 1897. In August, the Feria of Béziers takes place here, an unmissable event. Nearly a million people celebrate the art of bullfighting and in the heart of the city a great celebration takes place at 8 pm. But entertainment is also provided by horse shows with music.
Do not miss a visit to the Ecluses de Fonseranne, a magical place especially at night. Every evening until 11 pm the lock is illuminated. What about a boat trip on the Canal du Midi. Rent an electric boat for an hour, a half day or a whole day. Or take a discovery tour on foot or by bike along the banks. If you like, you can also take an audio tour to learn the entire history of the canal and its 9 locks. For the idle, the place is equipped with many benches from which you can enjoy an incredible view of the Cathedral St Nazaire of Béziers.
The garden of St Adrien in Servian, considered one of the "most beautiful private gardens in France", offers 4 hectares of Mediterranean vegetation, stones and water features. The golf specialists can take a detour to the Golf of St. Thomas (18 holes), 10 minutes from the beaches. It is located in a wooded and hilly terrain.
